Careers at Alchemy

Join a small team doing careful work.

We're a growing vascular and vein practice across Maryland and Washington, DC — built around the idea that great care starts with people who take the work seriously and treat patients like family.

Vascular Technologist (RVT)

Full-time · Pikesville, Rosedale, or Washington, DC
Now Hiring

We're looking for an experienced, ARDMS-certified vascular technologist to join our diagnostic team. The role centers on pelvic venous ultrasound and lower-extremity venous ultrasound — including DVT scans, venous reflux mapping, and pelvic congestion evaluations — with opportunities to grow into protocol design and sonographer training as we expand.

You'll be the right fit if you

  • Hold a current ARDMS RVT credential (RPhS or RVS additional certifications welcome)
  • Have demonstrable experience with venous reflux protocols and DVT studies
  • Are comfortable performing pelvic venous ultrasound, or eager to be trained
  • Care about accurate, well-documented imaging that makes the interpreting clinician's job easier
  • Want to work in a small, collegial practice rather than a high-volume corporate setting

What we offer

  • Same-day STAT studies and a clear, well-resourced imaging protocol library
  • Mentorship from Kit Alcott, PA-C, RVT, RPhS — who trains sonographers nationally
  • Health benefits, paid time off, and continuing education support
  • A team that values your time and your craft

Front-Desk Receptionist

Full-time · Pikesville, Rosedale, or Washington, DC
Now Hiring

The first voice and the first face our patients meet. You'll handle scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and the day-to-day rhythm of a busy specialty practice — while making every person who walks through our door feel welcome and well looked-after.

You'll be the right fit if you

  • Have prior front-desk or patient-facing experience — medical office is a strong plus
  • Are calm and warm under pressure, especially with patients who are anxious about their visit
  • Are organized, accurate with details, and comfortable navigating EMR and scheduling software
  • Communicate clearly by phone, email, and in person
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/another widely-spoken local language) is a meaningful plus

What we offer

  • A clear, organized workflow — we don't expect you to run on chaos
  • Health benefits and paid time off
  • A team that respects the front desk as essential to patient care, not an afterthought
  • Room to grow into patient coordination or practice operations
