Vascular Ultrasound

Diagnostics that come first.

The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis. Our vascular ultrasound services use advanced imaging to map exactly what's happening — so the plan that follows is built on facts, not guesses.

Why It Matters

The visible vein is rarely the whole story.

A bulging vein on the surface, a heaviness at the end of the day, a sudden swelling — they look different but often share an underlying cause. Vascular ultrasound is how we find it.

Performed by a Registered Vascular Technologist using hospital-grade equipment, ultrasound is non-invasive, painless, and remarkably precise. It maps blood flow, identifies failed valves, locates clots, and quantifies disease severity — turning a complaint into a treatable diagnosis.

Studies Available

A complete diagnostic menu.

Venous Reflux Mapping

Identifies failed valves throughout the superficial and perforator system — the underlying cause of most varicose veins, swelling, heaviness, and skin changes.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Same-day STAT studies to rule out or confirm clots in the deep venous system. Often ordered urgently for sudden swelling or leg pain.

Peripheral Arterial Disease

Non-invasive arterial Doppler studies including ABIs and segmental pressures, identifying circulation problems before they become limb-threatening.

Aneurysm Surveillance

Periodic monitoring of known aneurysms or screening when risk factors are present — abdominal, iliac, and lower-extremity territories.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

Specialized imaging to evaluate for pelvic venous insufficiency, an under-recognized cause of chronic pelvic pain and recurrent leg veins.

Screening Packages

Bundled studies for patients with risk factors or family history — a comprehensive vascular check-in, in a single visit.

STAT appointments are available the same day. We read studies in real time and walk you through findings before you leave the office.
How we work

Have a referral, or want to start with a study?

We accept referrals from outside providers and patients can self-schedule. Most studies are completed in 30–45 minutes.
