Our Practice

Rigorous medicine, delivered humanely.

Alchemy Vein Specialists was founded on a quiet conviction: that vascular care could be simultaneously rigorous, modern, and human — and that too often, it isn't.

Our Founder

Built on two decades of vascular practice.

Alchemy was founded by Krystal “Kit” Alcott — RVT since 2010, PA-C since 2017, with advanced certifications in vein care and procedural ultrasound.

Two decades of clinical work taught Kit two things at once: how technical excellence in this specialty has matured, and how rare it is to find practices that pair that rigor with real attentiveness. Alchemy is the practice she’d want her own family seen at.

What We Believe

Four principles that shape every visit.

Diagnose first, treat second.

The visible vein is rarely the whole story. We start with a thorough vascular ultrasound and clinical evaluation so the treatment matches the actual disease — not the surface symptom.

Time is part of the treatment.

We schedule visits with breathing room. You’ll never be rushed through a consult, and you’ll always leave understanding your diagnosis and what’s being recommended — and why.

Minimally invasive, always when possible.

Modern venous medicine is a fifteen-minute, walk-out-the-door affair. We use the full menu of advanced therapies — RFA, Varithena®, VenaSeal™, sclerotherapy — and choose the right tool for each patient.

Excellence is portable.

Through our training and consulting arm, the standard of care we hold ourselves to is one we actively help other practices reach. Our Remote Vascular Lab takes that principle on the road.

The right vein treatment, performed by the right hands, can feel transformative.
The Alchemy Philosophy
Our Story

Why “Alchemy”?

Symptoms patients have lived with for years — heaviness, aching, restlessness, ulceration — frequently resolve within weeks of a fifteen-minute outpatient procedure. The transformation is real and measurable.

The name is a nod to a longer tradition: the careful study of how to take what is broken, refine it through patient skill, and return it to wholeness. That’s what good vein care does. It’s what we set out to build.
