Superficial vein procedures should not cause significant pain. Most patients experience minimal discomfort. Treatments typically involve local anesthesia and are designed to be quick, safe, and well-tolerated. You may feel pinches, mild pressure, warmth, or a brief burning sensation depending on the procedure. All treatments take 15 mins or less. 

Recovery from vein treatment is generally mild. Most people:
• Return to normal activities the same day
• Walk immediately after treatment
• Wear compression stockings for a short period
• May experience mild bruising or soreness that resolves within days

Treated veins are usually closed permanently and will not return. However, vein disease is a chronic condition, meaning new veins may develop over time. Early evaluation and ongoing follow-up help maintain long-term results.

Insurance typically covers treatment when it is medically necessary, such as when symptoms affect daily life. Cosmetic treatments, including spider veins, are usually self-pay. Our team will help you navigate coverage and benefits.
